Hi, I’m Alyssa!

Our story

Alyssa’s Cookie Co. started officially in October of 2023 but I have been decorating sugar cookies long before then. I grew up learning how to bake thanks to my mom. When I was in Middle School, my mom, best friend, and our neighbor all took classes at Michaels on how to Cake Decorate. This is where I learned all the different techniques to pipe flowers, understand consistencies, and royal icing.

As years went on I had done a few cakes but not until my own bridal shower in 2019 did I make sugar cookies as favors. That is when friends and family started encouraging me to think about selling them. So I started selling sugar cookies to close friends and family, then they would share about me and I became more passionate about decorating sugar cookies. I started working on creating my own sugar cookie recipes and perfecting every piece of it. Then in 2022 I became a stay at home mom and took a year off of making cookies. But we all know a baker never actually stops. I started thinking about creating a future with this hobby. I worked on making drop cookie options like Chocolate chip, Strawberry Shortcake, and Cookies and Cream. In 2023 my youngest was born in August and I immediately started selling cookies again. I started doing holiday presales, farmers markets, and special orders. I love the way cookies are an easy treat to have when loved ones gather and it is an honor to be able to provide little works of art to your table.
